Priti Patel MP inspects ECO minor seawalls repair project

Priti Patel and local Councillor Elaine Bamford inspect a small scale galvanised steel sheet piling replacement with the landowner and his appointed contractor. Maldon District Council supports working in partnership to achieve flood defence goals for the community. Priti Patel agreed to highlight her support for this work to the EA who paid for the materials. Locally organised 'stitch in time' repairs greatly help prolong the life of flood defences at minimum cost.
