Just a couple of hours after removing the alert, the Environment Agency has put the Essex Coast back onto a Flood Alert status. Please keep yourself up to date with the data available on our USEFUL LINKS page... Using the EA Flood Alert (top right of that page), or the Harwich tidal gauges (2nd and 3rd from top right) to work out the current situation. To get the predicted natural (without any surge) high tide time/height for your location, use the tide times link 2nd down of the left.

Sadly, even after our communications, the tidal surge forecast tool (top left) is still not available.
