2.5m+ surge on its way

The latest prediction via The National Oceanography Centre (their website has just gone back online thankfully) is for a 2.5m+ surge tomorrow afternoon.

The Environment Agency currently has numerous Severe Flood Warnings in place (their highest alert status), so please up-to-date via our USEFUL LINKS page.

The current saving grace is that the surge is due to hit a couple of hours after high tide on the Essex Coast... but the situation is constantly changing.
